Hi, I am Ziba
I’m a therapist and writer from the UK specializing in food and eating psychology.
Having struggled with disordered eating throughout much of my teens and twenties, I never imagined a time when I could feel at peace around food like I do now.
My goal is to support others in achieving a similar sense of freedom and wellbeing.
I’m an accredited cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapist with an MSc in psychology. I’ve been studying and practicing Vipassana meditation for over 15 years.
I take a non-diet, mindfulness-based approach to helping you improve your relationship with food.
I practice within the Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy. This means you won’t be judged on your weight or size. Focusing too much on weight can play a major contributing role in a disordered relationship with food.
Feel free to get in touch for a chat.
Please note: If you think that you may meet the diagnostic criteria for an eating disorder, I recommend that you reach out to a doctor or mental health professional for an evaluation.

My articles on eating disorders and mental health have appeared in a number of print and online publications.
A research study I worked on and co-authored the paper for was published in Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment & Prevention.
